ROSS NEWS.
(From Our Own Correspondent)
The Harihari Concert Party gave their entertainment in the .Totarn Hall oil Friday evening and were greeted with a full house. Our southern friends are to be heartily congratulated on. producing such a splendid programme. The entertainment which lasted 2.1- hours and consisted of many bright and sparkling items went with a swing from start to finish, in fact several of the items would do credit to a professional company. At the. conclusion of the concert a large number remained for the ball, members of the company supplied the music and a very nice supper was provided. A most enjoyable function concluded in the vicinity of 2.110 a.m. FIRE HI! 10ADE BALL. Preparations are well in hand for the Fire Brigade’s Annual Ball which takes place next Friday evening. The Hall will be specially decorated and special attention is also being given to the floor, while a ladies’ committee will have charge of the supper arrangements. .Mr Ross’s Orchestra will supply the music. Given a .fine night the function should'prove quite a success.
