DUBLIN TOTALISATOR. LONDON. June 6. The Irish Free State Minister of Finance, Mr E. Blythe, explaining the Government’s betting tax proposals in the Dail Eireann yesterday, when the Finance Bill came up for second reading. said that the totalisator or the pari mutual system would be introduced on certain racecourses. Air P. AY. Shaw, said : “I have’ no hesitation in saying that if the tax is operative at coursing meetings every coursing meeting held in the Free State will be held in Northern Ireland.”
