There is a better demand for finest guality. Official quotations are:— New Zealand—Finest salted 168 s to 172 s per cwt (Is 6d to Is Old per lb) ; unsalted 170 sto 172 s per cwt (Is o.’,d to Is Old lb) ; other qualities IGOs to 102 s per cwt (Is 5d to Is old lb).

Australian—Salted, 164 s to 168 s per cwt (Is old to Is Cd lb) ; uiisalted, 166 s to 170 s per cwt (Is s:[d to Is 6.1 lb); other qualities, salted, loos to 156 s per cwt (Is 4.U1 lb) ; other qualities, uiisalted, 135 s to 152 s per cwt (Is 2id to Is 4‘,d lb). Argentine—Resulted, 154 sto 158 s up to 160 b per cwt (Is 4-Jd, Is 4ijd to Is 5d Hi) ; other qualities, 144 s to 152 s par cwt (Is ofd to Is 4Jd lb). ■Siberian—l4os to 1445, up to 1.46 s per cwt (Is 3d, Is 3Jd to Is 35-d lb). Irish—Creamery, 164 s to 168 s per cwt (Is old to Is 6d lb) ; uiisalted, 166 s to 170 s per cwt (Is 5Jd to Is OJd lb). Canadian—Creamery, 164 sto 166 s per cwt (Is old to Is ojd lb). Danish—l76s to I.Bos per cwt (Is 6Jd to Is 71d lb). CHEESE. The market is' steady. Official quotations are:—

English finest farmers, 96s to 190 s per cwt (10id tp 10R1 lb). Canadian—Finest coloured, 82s to 84s per eivt (BRI to 9d lb) ; white, 86s to 88s per cwt- (9-jd lb). Now Zealand—Coloured, 82s to 84s per cwt (BJd to 9d lb) ; white, 87s to 83s per cwt- (Old lb). A shipment of New Zealand produce arrived this week per s.s. lonic.

CASEIN. Present quotations are;— New Zealand Rennet £59, Danish £57 lCs. HE A IP. Manila is somewhat firmer. Hit there is not much business, passing. “J” grade. Augiist-October shipments quoted £4O sellers. Sisal steady and prices same ns last, quotations. New Zealand steady. Higlipoints InlySeptember shipments quoted £36. lair £33 10s sellers. WOOL. Competition is healthy at the sales, though there were numerous withdrawals of Cape and Australian sorts owing to the holders’ firm limit. Prices generallv about opening rates. FRUIT. New Zealand apples are practically cleared in London with the exception of portion Arahia. There is a little better demand.

Stunner, 12s to 13s per case. Cleopatra, 9s to 11s case. Delicious, 9s to 10s case. Remainder Port Hobart stunner at Liverpool sold at 5s 3d to 8s 9d per case. TALLOW. The spot market is quiet and prices are unchanged.
