Three convicts who escaped from Rjambouillet prison.this afternoon, after murdering a warder, are being hunted through the thickets of the President’s game preserves in Rambouillet Forest by gendarmes, luissars, and gamekeepers. A passer-by informed the gendarmerie by telephone that lie had seen three men running away from the prison, one of the side doors of which was open. In the prison- yard a warder was found lying dead with a wound in his forehead, a handkerchief being tied tightly round his neck. His keys and his two revolvers and cartridges had disappeared. * The three convicts were serving sentences for attempted murder.
