The “Daily News” Cairo correspondent reports the Druses repulsed a French stronghold necessitating a retreat to Damascus. LONDON. July 25. A Damascus correspondent states the Druses lost a hundred killed and three hundred prisoners and the French (including Circassian and Armenian auxiliaries) forty killed and ninety-seven wounded, the dead including the brilliant Colonel \ ig.
