The death occurred on Thursday night at Reeftpn of Mrs Isabella Jane Gilmer. Waitaliu. The deceased was the widow of Mr John Gilmer, and a native of County Antrim. She was sixty-two years of- age, and had resided in the Valley for nearly 40 years. After the death of her husband she successfully farmed the property known as Gilmer’s. Failing health compelled her entrance to the hospital. She is survived by one son (Thomas), three daughters (Mrs Ritchie. Queensland. Miss Gilmer. Reefton, and one in America),
