EVERYBODYS PICTURES. “THE FIGHTING HEART”— TO-NIGHT. A truly ail star cast appears in " The Fighting Heart,” the screen version of Harry Evans’ romantic story, “ Once to Every Alan,” which will be shown to-night at the Princess Theatre. The picture was directed by John Ford, who made “ The Irou Horse,” the William Fox picture sensation of the year. George O’Brien, featured in “ The Iron Horse,” “ The Man Who Came Back,” “The Painted Lady,” “ Tlio Roughneck,” and “The Dancers,” portrays the leading role—• a characterization entirely at variance with any other yet portrayed by the young actor. Opposite Mr O’Brien is Billie Dove, who scored heavily by virtrue of her work in one of the leading roles of “The Folly of Vanity,” “The Roughneck,” and other Fox successes. .]. Farrell MacDonald, picturesque Corporal Casey of “ The Iron Horse,” is seen in another role suited to his remarkable talents. J. Farrell portrays the character of Jerry, the mailman. Francis Powers and James Welch, who with J. Farrell MacDonald formed the famous “The Muskestcers ” of “The Iron Horse,” arc seen in prominent roles in the now Ford production. Victor AlacLnglen, he of the mammoth frame and stern visage, scan in the villain role. During the war Mr .MacLaglen was champion heavy-weight boxer of the English army and his ability with the padded mits makes him an ideal foil for George O’Brien. The former boxer played a character role in the picture version of James Oliver Cunvood’s “ The Hunted Woman” presented l)y Fox last season. Diana Miller, whose screen interpretations of polished feminine villain roles has won fame for-her, has been cast in a similar role in “ The Fighting Heart.” “Flames of Desire,” “The Rainbow Trail” and “ Curlytop ” are three recent Fox productions in which Miss Miller portrayed major parts. James Marcus, former director and character actor of wide renown, delivers another sterling interpretation as Judge Maynard. Mr Marcus was also a member of the cast of “The Iron Horse.” Harvey Clark, Colin Chase, Edward Piel, Jack Herrick, Lynn Cowan and Hazel Howell fill out other pivotal voles in the new John Ford nroduction.
