ment. Wellington, has instruoted the Westland Hospital Board that patients must pay their maintenance fees before leaving the hospital. The Secretary has been instructed to wait on all patients being discharged on Tuesdays and Fridays, these being the days appointed for discharge of all patients. No patient can be discharged except on these days, and all patients must pay the maintenance fees before leaving the hospital. This will take effect from August Ist. 1920.
