WESTLAND SUB-UNION. ■ The Sub-Union met last evening at 8 o’clock. Present:—Messrs F. McGregor (President), Breeze, Adam, Dowell. Stafford, Burns, Partridge, Howat, Lawn. 'fhe minutes were confirmed and outward correspondence approved. Reinstatement papers were handed in to be forwarded to the W.C.R.TJ. From W.C.R.U. in reference to referees for senior, games.—Received; , already attended to. Referees reports were read. Mr C. Gay lor reported ordering off a Ross player on Saturday at Ross.—Received and consideredlt was resolved that consideration lie held over till next Monday, two players, the referee and the Ross field captain to he asked to attend. 1 The schools football report was road and approved. From Pirates Club, Burnett’s Face, asking for a match with a 9-stonc team on Friday, September 3rd.—Received and agreed to. From White Star Juniors, Westport, asking for a. match against Excelsior Juniors on July 24th.—Received and request granted. From G. W. Keller forwarding donation to Union.—Received with thanks. It was resolved that the remaining Kiwi Club players be allowed to play for any Club they desire. FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. JUNIORS. Kauieri v. Ross, at Hokitika, at 3 p.m., Mr E. W. Heenan. Kokatahi v. Excelsior, at Kokatahi, at 3 p.m.. Mr .1. Coulson. THIRD GRADE. School v. Excelsior, at 1.30 p.m., Mr C. Gaylor. Kiwi v. Riniu, at Rimn, Mr A. Sumner. EIGHT-STONE GAMES. Wednesday, July 14—Hokitika A v. Hokitika B. Saturday, July 17—Convent-Arahura v. Ross, at Ross, at 11 a.m. Votes of sympathy were passed to Referee A. Cutbush (in hospital) and players Robertson, Porson, Steele and Thompson (suffering from injuries). Kaniori were granted permission to arrange a match with a Grey team for July 14th. _____
