FARM SCHOOL.
R'F.YTN. July 13. The first travelling farm school was organised by the Department- of Agriculture and began the itinerary at Levin yesterday. There was a large attendance of farmers, and lectures were given by the departmental officers and other experts, throughout the day, on dairy cows, sheep-breeding and wool, manures and top-dressing, veterinary matters, pasture, management of swine, and husbandry. The school is in session in different- towns for the rest of the week.
