! TWO FIRES. BLENHEIM, July 13. Two outbreaks of fire occurred within the last twenty-four hours. An eightroomed homestead at Dillon’s Point, near Blenheim, owned and occupied by C. J. Lucas, was totally destroyed with the contents. Insurance: £BOO on dwelling and £250 on contents in New Zealand Farmers. At an early hour this morning a sixroomed dwelling in Percy Street, owned and occupied by S. T. Evatt, was badly gutted. The fire had a good hold when discovered, compelling Evatt to run the gauntlet of the flames to rescue his young daughter. All escaped in their night attire. Insurance: £BOO on the house and £250 on the contents ir the State Office,
