CRUTCHING SALE. WELLINGTON, June 30. The first crntcliing sale of the season was held to-day when catalogues comprising 2750 hales were submitted to a, good attendance of the trade. Local manufacturers and oversea buyers competed keenly for all 'lines of good to super style, hut these wore in poor supply; the hulk of the offering consisting of average and inferior lots, with seed much in evidence. A few lines of fleece wool were offered, but these were mostly of indifferent quality and realised values ruling at the close of the regular season. The following is the range of prices realised: Merino crutcliings, 9Jd to lid; ilh. crutcliings 7LI to 8:1; pieces and bellies, fiijd to 71 <1: locks and std. pieces, 4d to old: crutcliings, superior BJd to 9Jd; medium to good, Gjd to Sid; seedy to inferior 4d to 7d; lambs, Gsd to 9|tl; dead, 7-Jcl to 9d.
