Ihe question of withdrawing safety men from tile pits in consequence ol complaints that colliery managers were violating local agreements. I’ho Executive decided at present to adhere to tho decision to allow safety men to continue, as their withdrawal would unfairly penalise colliery companies loyally observing the agreement. CHINESE ATTACK. PEKIN, June 30. 'file allied forces of Wuplifu and Cliangtsoiin have launched an attack against Tviioniinclmii. They have progressed considerably and have occupied several important points.
