His Lordship the Bishop of Christchurch is expected on the Coast nexl week, making diis first pastoral visit His Lordship will be at All Saints' Church next Sunday week.
Air H. Bateson,. Managing Editor of “ N.Z. Truth,” arrived in Hokitika on Saturday, and during tho day visited Rimu Flat dredge, Araliura A'alley and Lake Kanieri. Yesterday, accompanied by Airs Bateson, he went south, but owing to the unfavourable weather will not return to-morrow as intended originally, but will stay at AVaiho Gorge till Friday returning via Ross that”evening to Hokitika and proceeding to Christchurch the following day.
