Tile Auckland Boxing Associated discussed a proposal to increase the membership from 150 to 300 and to increase tho subscription to £3 3s. with in entrance fee of £l. This was cairied hv a majority of about a dozen votes, hut a two-thirds majority is required for an alteration of the rule. Amendments slightly vaiied, favoured a hare majority. The Chairman said it would he unfortunate if the impression got out that they were trying to keep the Association a close corporation. That was not the opinion of the meeting.
