CONFIDENCE
The great reason for -the establishment of the Public Trust Office was to give the people an li/iistitntion in which they could have the utmost confidence for the fititlifnl and efficient administration of estates. The State-guar-teo of security and fidelity li.as naturally encouraged many thousands of people to have their Wills drawn hy the Public Trust Office and to choose the Public Trustee as their executor. From year to year his confidence increases. The fact tint the total value of estates in the Office has increased from £8.112.312 in the year 1911 to £35.570.642 at 31st March, 1925, is solid proof of the people’s confidence in their own Public Trust Office. The number of wills of living persons now held hv this office exceeds 49,250 and the figures are increasing rapidly.
