Tlie market is firm. Official quotations are:— New Zealand.—Finest salted: 176 s to 178 s per cwt (Is 6Jd to Is 7d per lb) ; unsalted : 176 s to 178 s per cwt (Is oj‘il to Is 7d per lb). Other qualities: 160 s to 170 s per cwt (Is 5-Jd to Is 6pi per lb). Australian.—Salted: 172 sto 174 s per cwt (Is Old per lb), exceptional ITOsjier cwt (Is ORI per lb). Unsalted: 172 s to 174 s per cwt (Is GUI per lb). Other qualities: 1.46 sto 166 s per cwt (Is 3}d to Is oijd lb). Argentine.—Unsalted: 158 s to 164 s per cwt (Is 4pl to Is s)d per lb). Other qualities: 14Ss to 156 s per cwt (Is 3RI to Is 4]d lb). Irisn.—Creamery: 174 s to 176 s per cwt (Is Old to Is 6Jd lb). Factory: 149 s per cwt (Is 4d per lb). Official quotations are:— Canadian.—Finest coloured (new): 91s to 92s per cwt (93d lb); white (now) 92s to 93s per cwt (93d to LOd lb) ; coleoured (old), 106 s per cwt (11 pi per lb) ; white (old), 106 s to 108 s per cwt (11 pi to llpl per lb).

New Zealand.—(Coloured ; 94s to 95s per cwt (lOd per lb) ; white, 95s to 96s per cwt (lOd to lOpl lb).

Australian.—Coloured: - 91 sto 93s per cwt (93d to lOd lb) ; white, 95s to 94s per cwt (93 to lOd lb). Shipments of New Zealand produce arrived this week per s.s. Tasmania and Port AHctor. TALLOW. The spot market is firm. Some business has been done with Australian for shipments. Present quotations are:— Mutton.—Fine, 45s Od to 46s per cwt; fair to good. 43s 6d to 44s Gd cwt; dark to dull, 42 to 43s cwt. Beef.—Sweet and/or mixed, 44s 6d to 45s 'cwt ; fair to good, 43s to 44s cwt; dark to dull, 40s 6d to 42s cwt. Mixed.—Fair to good, 42s 6d to 445; dark to dull, 40s 6d to 42s per cwt. Gut. etc.—37s to 41s 6d cwt. CASEIN. Argentine Lactic, £67; French Rennet, £6O; New Zealand, £69.
