UNKNOWN WOMAN RESCUER. LONDON, April 23. London police - yesterday investigated the circumstances of the discovery on Wednesdav night of a man and a woman in the River Lea at Tottenham. who were rescued by a policeman. The man, Mr Bernard Cosgravo, a non-combine omnibus piopiietoi ol No rt Ini m.be rl a lid-pa rk. was unconscious The woman went to fetch an ambulance, it is believed, hut did not return.' Mr Cosgravo was taken to hospital, where he recovered consciousness yesterday. Although the police traced the woman they were working until a late hour with the object of definitely es tahlisliing her identity. It was stated that she entered the water to rescue the man.
