The "Daily Mail” states: Mr Lloyd George’s latest American press article,' urging the Liberals to rally to him in preference to Lord Oxford, has angered the “ official gang,” wlm are making efforts to heal the Liberal breach. Lord Cowdray refused to comment When invited to say whether he lias offered one million sterling to the Liberal Party if Mr Lloyd George were not associated therewith. LONDON. June 14.
Lord Oxford is suffering from Angina Pectoris, following upon influenza. He has been ordered a complete rest. There is a possibility of his resignation of the Liberal leadership. It is Icing discussed in the lobbies of the House of Commons.
