ESSAY COMPETITION.
Regarding the identity of the writers of the prize essays for the competition in respect to the visit of the school children to the Dunedin Exhibition, Air E. Partridge, Rector of the Hokitika District High School writes as follows: 1 have to advise you that the writers of the three essays in connexion with the Exhibition visit were pupils of the Hokitika District High School: Scriptor: - - James Park. Aorangi: - - Lester Leslie. Clover: - - Millieent Wild. The first prize essay is published today, the second will appear to-morrow and the third on Friday. No doubt readers will find much to appreciate in the interesting articles written by the young observers.
