[Australian it N.Z. Cable Association.] ALL BLACK COMBINATION. (Received this day at 12.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 15. Satisfaction was expressed in Rugby Union circles at the personnel of the All Black team. The combination is regarded as a powerful olio. The'selectors were apparently anxious to avenge the only defeat upon the 1921 team. So far there has been no definite move to select the New South Wales team, but a. scheme is afoot for the test team to go into training quarters for a period before matches.
MEDIC A L CONFERENCE. SYDNEY, .Tune 15. A conference of leading medical practitioners and institutions interested in combating tuberculosis, was held at the instance of the Department of Health, and decided to create a special branch of the Department to deal with tuberculosis. A thoroughly representative Board of Control was appointed to put the scheme into operation. BEAM WIRELESS. MET. BOURNE, June 15. In the House of Representatives, Mr Bruce, replying to a question stated beam wireless communication between Australia and Britain will not be in operation until October, and with Canada in November or December. He added that the statement that grave technical defects in the beam system might'cause a radical alteration in that system was without foundation. All. the technical difficulties had been solved.
