CYCLIST'S DASH. LONDON, April 21. A motor-cyclist tvitli a girl on the pillion seat disregarded a policeman’s signal to atop at .Sunningdale, Berkshire. and was chased by the officer on his bicycle. At Sunningdale railway station the level-crossing gates were closed, so the I motor-cyclist turned into the goods yard, thence reached the permanent, way. and rode a rapid .pace along the line between Sunningdale and Ascot. His path by the outside of the track was only about two feet wide, and there was a steep slope to tbe ground level 40 feet below. In one place bis progress was impeded by a signal and its wires and in another by the parapet wall of a bridge, but the couple safely reached a footpath a mile along the line, .gained the road once more, and escaped. Tee police have not traced •him.
