LATE LOCALS.
Messrs Lynch Bros, painters and papsrhangers notify they have opened up in the centrally" situated shop in Revcll St., adjoining Air J. J. Breeze, boot-maker, where a special consignment of wall-papers and paints arc now being shown. Messrs Newmans Motors Ltd., notify cars will leave on Wednesday at 1 p.m. for Kokaffahi Winter Show. If sufficient inducement offers a car will also leave to-morrow (Tuesday) at 1.30 p.m. A large slip came down on Slip Hill, Lake Kanieri road, this forenoon, blocking traffic completely. The County authorities arc attending to the clearing this afternoon, when it is hoped tho road will again be open for traffic.
