POLAR JAUNT. LONDON, June 13. The winder, AVilliam S'eooresby, manned by a crew of thirty-three, including Edmund Seempter, formerly an associate with Slinckleton’s and Peary’s polar expeditions, is departing from Hull on a South Polar Scientific 'Expedition, which tlie Falkland Island Government is financing.
CYCLONEI DAMAGE. ® GENEVA, June 13. Advices from Tetuan state that as a '’•'-reprisal for the terrible massacre they suffered at the hands of the Riffs at the time of the Spanish retreat from Sheshuan, the Akhmes tribe decapitated all raiders of Abdel Krim, throwing their bodies on the dunghills and displaying their heads in the market places. The chiefs of the Akhmes ordered all Riffs and Jebalis in the district to be killed without mercy. The order was immediately carried out. A Riff official appointed by Abdel Krim at Benoder was arrested and killed, as ho attempted to flee to the international zone, with a large sum of money.
