“It is out of the ordinary; and as x pure experiment I am willing to give her a chance, but if she does not take advantage of it, that is her affair,” said the Magistrate, Mr J. G. Hewitt, in admitting Annie Larsen, aged 45, to probation to-day for two years on three charges of shop-lifting.
