SA'iTR DAY’S GAMES. At Grey month in the. senior game on Victoria Park against Stars, the Hokitika team was successful by fi points ta try and a penalty goal) to 5 points (a converted try). The game was a very'willing one and the play was last. The winners were somewhat lucky to win on the run of the play. On Cass Square the Excelsior juniors defeated Ross by 17 points toll points. For Excelsiors tries were scored by King and MacDonald, which were both converted by 11. Nightingale, who also kicked a penalty goal, while Staines potted a goal. For Ross. Ableson scored a try which was converted by T. Houlahan who also kicked two penalty goals.
