NOTICES OF MOTION. d-—Tine Chairman to move:—“That the accounts for the month of May, 192 G, as revised and recommended for payment by the Finance Committee, amounting to £ be passed for payment.” 2 The Chairman to move : —“That all existing Committees be discharged, and the Council proceed to appoint fresh committees as follows: (A) —Finance Committee: Crs Chesterman (Chairman), Chinn, Searie and Ward. (B) —Works Committee : Crs Wells (Chairman), Donovan, Morel and Murdoch. (C) —Mining Committee : Crs Murdoch (Chairman), Donovan. C-hester-man, Wells. (D) —Councillors to sign cheques: The County Chairman, Chesterman, Murdoch, Ward and Wells. 3 The Chairman to move: “That tiie Council authorise the contraction of a -serviceable road extending from the end of the road reserve frontage as far as necessary to meet traffic requirements ; thi? occupier of section 2829 (with the consent of the Commissioner of Lands) to grant the right of roadway out to the river road reserve frontage. 4Mr Searie to move:—“That the Council approve of the expenditure of the Petersen road grant, £l5O, aloiTg the dedicated route through section 2829; and proposals for same he submitted to the Public Works Department, accordingly.

s—Mr Morel to move:—“That the attention of the Highways Board be drawn to the necessity of widening the bridge at Shanandoah Creek, IvanieriHokitika road, as a precaution against accident.”
