BOY SCOOTS

| (Contributed.) , The last four days .of the school holidays were used tor a special camp fur the Sixers of the Second Wolf Cob Pack with very successful results. It would almost seem that at last the local Clerk of the 'Weather has joined Dvr Boy Scout Movement as recent camps have been favoured with remarkably fortunate changes in the ■ weather. The .Sixers in question, who are elder Cubs with groups of boys in their charge, proved themselves clean and energetic campers and the next camp of the whole Pack, with these old campaigners in charge, should provide almost- a rest cure for the Cub master. Sixer C. Duncan has this week gained Star, being the seventh member of the Pack to attain to this rank. The Inter-six Competition proved unusually exciting this month, and was won hv the newly reconstituted Black Six with 1370 points, the Brindles being runners-up with 1.361, and the Blues and. Browns close behind in the order named.

■With the celebration of the King’s Birthday this week comes a break in the series of special rallies which have occupied attention lately, and it is hoped that real progress in rehearsals for the entertainment which the Second Hokitika have in preparation, will now Iki possible. The Troop Committee of this troop meet': iiext ..Tuesday...evening as usual.
