Matson and Co. report as follows regarding their stock sale at Addington yards yesterday:— •Store Sheep.—A small yarding, ineluding seve4.ll North Island, consignments, some of which were lambs. Local sheep were comprised generally of washings up and oddments. The market, except for any good sheep, was decidely easier and many sales wore hard to make, but this probably was duo to the quality offering. Any good young ewes or local ewes with bona lido warrantry, as well as forward wethers and Jambs showed little difference. Best crossbred ewe lambs 23s 2d to 26s 10d, medium 18s Gd to 225, good crossbred wether lambs IDs to ills 10d ; others to 10s 6d; s.m. crossbred ewes to 265; s.f. and f.m. 18s (id to 235; 4,6, and 8 tooth owes to 29s 2d. Best forward wethers 24s (Id to 20s 3d.

Store Cattle.—Only a small yarding comprising mostly odd cows and nondescript lots. No quotable lines were offered.

Fat Pigs.—A medium entry and the market opened firm for porkers at late y .it.es. but cased after selling two races and only well finished stuff was saleable. Unfinished and inferior sorts were neglected and lmd to be sold in the store pens.

Baconors. —A small entry and all lots sold well on a par with late rates. Values: Light porkers 4Cs to 02s, heavy 55s to 675, average 8d to fid. Light biiconers £4' to £4 10s, heavy ,C 5 to £5 10s, extra heavy to £6 Os Gd; choppers £3 to £0 15s. Store Pigs.—A small entry. Very few woatiers and slips yarded and prices for this class were firmer. Other sorts were sold on a par with last week’s rales. Value: weaner 10s to 15s; slips 20s to 265; small stores 27s to 295; medium 32s to 39s ; large to 40s.

Beef.—A medium yarding comprising 435 head as against over G3O for the last few weeks. As usual a large proportion of the entry comprised cow beef. There were several lines of cutstanding quality including two lines of magnificent Polled Angus bullocks from the North Island. Otherwise the quality was irregular. There was little difference in prices and considering tho tremendous yardings of beef we have had recently it is wonderful how prices keep up. Prim© steers £l3 to £ls 15s, extra to £lB 2s Gd, medium £lo 10s to £l2 15s, others to £7; prime heifers £8 15s to £ll ss, extra to £l3 17s Gd, medium £G 5s to £8 10s, others to £4; prime lows £8 10s to £l2 ss, extra to £l4 2s Gd, medium £G to £8 others to £3.

Mutton.—Another large yarding but not the same proportion of wethers as last week. Tho quality with the exception of a few outstanding consignments was very irregular. The marketopened somewhat slacker and continued so till towards the end of the day and the sale closed firm. Exporters apparently were not- so keen. The market, especially for ewes was par to Is fid easier. Prime wethers 32s to 25s Gd, extra to 40s Id, medium 29s Gd to 31s Gd, lighter to 265; prime owes 23s to 28s Gd, extra to 33s l(kl, medium 19s to 22s Gd, others to 12s Gd. Schedule prices were more than maintained.

Fat Lambs.—A very small yarding, mostly comprising tail ends, but a good sale, exporters operating keenly for nil sorts and tho schedule price was more than fully maintained.
