Mr Dalton is resuming the Trade Coniunssionership in Australia- on April. 1927, and expects to stay another two years or possibly longer, because lie understands the Board of Trade’s new policy is to extend the Commissioner’s term of service in eac<h. Dominion instead of frequently interchanging as heretofore. The purpose is to enable the Commissioner to have the amplest opportunity to.acquire the fullest knowledge of Hie Dominion conditions, and utilise it for the promotion of trade. TR ADE OR G ANISATION. LONDON, May 31. French and German business men have formed an organisation with the obJSbt of removing distrust and thereby enabling a better development of trade.
