All Excelsior Juniors Thirds and Shrimps must be at the shed at 7 o’clock -sharp this evening. Thursday’s 7-aside teams will be selected from those present. SATURDAY’S GAMES. SENIORS. •Stars 18, United 3. At Greymoutli Stars defeated United by 18 to 3. -Stars score included tries by Steel. (3), and Nelson, the latter eon verting two and Thomas one. Ecr United Walls scored. The Stars hacks controlled the game and they had all the best of the play. THIRD GRADE. School 18, Kiwis 9. JUNIORS. Kanieri Id, Kiwis 9. I lic weather was perfect for football 011 Saturday and the ground in very fair order. The third grade game between School and Kiwis was a very fair exhibition. Both sides made the play open hut the school had by far the best, combination and well deserved their will. School won by 18 points (tries scored by M. Davidson (4). Stapleton and I). Heinz), to Kiwis 9 points (tries by S. Davidson and White while Lewis kicked a penalty goal). -Mr A. Cut-hush was referee.
Jll the junior game Kiwis v. Kanieri, Kanieri won by 15 points (stries sccoved by AVhiley. Leslie. Tniuui, Stopforth and Pfalileft), to Kiwis 9 points (tries by Gould and O’Connor and a penalty goal by George). The game opened with only moderate play and then the Kanieri combination got- going and though it broke down on many occasions tries came at intervals from very attractive passing runs. Kiwis scores cumc from dribbling rushes, but the winners had the upper hand for mostpart of the game and well-deserved their win. Mr E. AY’. Hoenan was referee. SEVEX-ASIDE TOURNEY.
