A collision between two motor cars took place on Saturday evening about 6.30 p.in. at the intersection of Weld and Tailored Streets. It appears that Mr AY. Jones of Koiterangi was going down Weld Street, having left Perry’s store and Mr J. C. Maefarlano was coming up Tailored Street. A collision took place, Mr Maefarlane’s front wheel striking the rear wheel of Mr •Tones’ ear. Both cars suffered damage to the mudguards and Mr Jones had to put on ri new tyre. The death occured at Rccfton on Saturday, after a brief and painful illness of Mr William Brngge, aged 57 years.
