[‘‘Sydney Sun” Cables.] ROTARY CONFERENCE. Honolulu; May as. The United States to-day literally shook hands with Australia and New Zealand at the. closing session of the Pacific Rotary Conference, when dramatic scenes were enacted in expression of international friendship. Just before the close Fred Bilks (Sydney) called Charles Rhodes (Auckland) and Horace Johnson (Honolulu) president together and Mr Rhodes addressed lhe gathering on lines already cabled. 'She Conference then adjourned after singing the America and British National Anthems, the observers remarking that the Australians sang “America” better than the Americans did. The delegates afterwards scattered to visit various Islands of the Hawaiian group. 'I he Australians were surprised to learn that Hawaii now has wallabies since the pair that escaped to the mountains of Oaliu Island began breeding.
