BODY FOUND.

The police were advised this afternoon that the body of the missing lad Cecil Smith, was found in the Hokitika river near the property of Air T. Crougli, junr.. Kokatahi, this morning. ' The body was discovered by the father of the missing lad, who has been continuously searching since his arrival from Christchurch last week. It is 11 days since the fatality occurred above the Koiterangi bridge on Sunday afternoon, 16th. inst. An inquest will be held at 10 o’clock to-morrow morning at Air W. Diodlichs’ homestead. Lower Kokatahi.
