MINISTERIAL VISIT.
MINISTER OF MINES COMTNG The Hon. Mr Anderson, Minister of Mines, has advised Mr Seddon M.P. that he would like to discuss further with the members of the local bodies, the question of the disposal of the Kinnara water races. Mr Anderson stated he would arrive here next Saturday and return on Monday. Conformable with the Hon. Mr Anderson’s suggestion, Air Seddon is convening a meeting of the local bodies concerned of Greymoutli. Kumara and Hokitika, at the County Chambers, Hokitika, on Saturday evening next at 7.30 o’clock, when the whole subject will lx: reviewed. Members of the following local bodies are expected to attend:—Grey County Council, GreyPower Board.
