DEATH OF DENTAL PATIENT. AUCKLAND, May 21. With reference to the death of Donald Mein doe, a schoolboy aged 16 years of Mnnurewa, which occurred at the Auckland Hospital, it is stated the hoy had been removed to the hospital after having 27 teeth extracted at the Auckland Dental Hospital. Air W. Wallace, Chairman of the Hospital Board, stated that this was the first case of death by misadventure since the dental hospital was opened in 1909. Since the inception of the Hospital, general anaesthetics had been administered in 1250 cases and nitrons oxide in 9303 cases.
