FBANCO-SPANJSII ATTACK. [Keuter Telegrams.] (Received this day at 9.0 a.m.) LONDON, Alay 20. “Like a wild boar defending its mountain home at the last rock,” is the description applied by Beuter’s Paris correspondent to Abdel Tvrim’s position, in' face of the joint FrancoHpanish offensive in Alorocco. Whereas Lho pressure last year was practically entirely from the south and northwards and during the Biff offensive from north and southwards, the FrnncoSpanish are now active on four sides of a. huge parallelogram, the two longer sides whereof are represented by the , ALcditcrrauon.il Coast and the French frontier, and the two shorter sides by lines drawn from Tituan to Larache and from Meliln. Southwards the parallelogram traverses the wild mountain gorges and ranges, where last year Abdel Krifn sent his hareas to harry the attacking forces. First the Spanish movements were directed towards closing the eastern exits from the parallelogram. Their troops arc now advancing with a view to effecting a permanent junction which will separate the two black tribesmen. Spaniards in Adjirc sector occupied Tamasnit, Abdel Krim’s winter residence at Tarquist, his recent headquarters.
