All Excelsior junior and third grade players must lie at the shed to-night. The following players of the Kanicri Club are selected to travel to Ross on Saturday Bus to leave Newmans about 1.15 p.m.C. Pfalilert, 3loynihan, Hutchison, Selby, Gardvne, Growcott. Leslie, Fleming. Cunningham Rooney, AYhilcy, Stopforth, Tainui, Webster, E. Pfalilert, O’Brien, Schist. The Bush Rugby Union lias communicated with tlie New Zealand Union entering a strong pica for the greater recognition of minor union players for the North v. South Island matches and incidentally- for the All Black teams. A suggestion is made that a curtainraiser between the minor unions of the North and South Islands be played on the occasion of the usual inter-island game. It is also suggested that this fixture should be an annual one.
