LATE LOCALS.
Newmans Alotors Ltd. have a special car leaving for Arthur’s Pass on Saturday morning at 8.45.0 clock.
The Excelsior Ball held last evening in the R.S.A. Hall proved a veryenjoyable function. The floor was well filled and dancing was kept merrily- moving until an early hour. The music was of the best being provided by Air C. Ross’ Orchestra, extras being kindly supplied by Aliss Gillooly, Air E. Raine and Mr A. H. Lawn. The supper arrangements under a band of willing lady-helpers was all that could he desired. Alessrs D. Heenan and H. Davidson had charge of tho floor.
