Following an interview between Pilsudski and Rntnv Marshall who temporarily asumes the Presidency of the Republic, a government of experts, mostly officials, will be formed until the National Assembly composed of Diet and Senate elects a new President. Professor Bartel becomes Premier, Peisudski takes the War Office, and Tialeski ex-ambassador to Rome will be Foreign Minister. TIIE FIGHTING OVER. WARSAW, .May Hi. Marhsal Pilstidski in a communique says: All the fighting has ended. The troops have been sent back to the garrisons. The total casualties were:— 215 killed tand 917 wounded. Premier Bartel says the Government’s programme will consist of agrarian reforms, including the partitioning of the large estates among small holders; greater autonomy for Hie National minorities, 'and a continuation of the struggle'against Communism. WARSAW, May IG. Marshal Pilstidski is still in danger from sporadic provincial risings in favour of M. Witos, but the> risk is not great, as the Provincial Governors have now sworn lallegiance to the new regime. The numbers killed in the fighting in the streets and outside the city gates are definitely stated tit eight , hundred. Marshal Pilstidski is heavily guarded ' at the Spala Palace. ( Eighty thousand people ninrched in procession at tho funeral of the killed soldiers. ,
