SATURDAY’S GAAIES. SENIORS. Hokitika 25, United 8. JUNIORS. Kiwis 9, Kokatahi 3. Excelsiors 3, Kanieri 0. HOKITIKA V. UNITED. The Hokitika senior team journeyed to Greyinouth oil Saturday and proved victorious by 25 to 8. In the early* stages United attacked and ran up two tries, Jamieson and Beil scoring, the latter converted the second one. Then Hokitika attacked and scored two tries by Freitas and Steel, which were not converted, tbe score at half time being S to 6. In the second half Hokitika added five tries, Dougherty, Tainui, Freitas, Kinloch and Houston scoring. King converted one and the game ended with Hokitika successful by 25 to 8. Mr Mclntosh was referee. KIAA'IS V. KOKATAHI. This junior game was played at Kokatahi and proved a very poor exhibition. Kiwis proved the winners by 3 tries (9 points) to 1 try (3 points). Afr A.
