CHRISTCHURCH, May 14. j At the Supremo Court, Robert Me--1.1 lii nr.ey, farmer, of Ashburton, was . ■ charged with four offences under Bankruptcy Act. The jury convicted him on the fourth count, which was “ Hint after the presentation of a bankruptcy petition against him, or within two years before such presentation, ho was privy to the falsefication of a document relating to his or affairs.” Prisoner will be sentenced to-morrow.
