BOY SCOUTS.

(Contributed.) The Second Troop have: a live days' camp starting this Saturday and, in consequence, all other scouts and cubs meetings usually held on Saturday, Sunday or Tuesday will be cancelled for this week. The Cubs will have their usual weekly meeting on T-'.iursdii.v, Alay 20th, instead of the previous Tuesday, Friday, May 21st, is “Another’s Day” and all scouts and cubs arc asked to keep the date carefully in mind. Empire Day will he celebrated by an early flag parade at 7.30 a.in., anil at 10.0 a.in., if the weather allows, all cubs anil scouts are to inarch out with the Trek Cart and rations for a day in the open which will include games and a daylight camp (ire. Lust Tuesday’s Second Troop Committee lileotiiig was chiefly concerned with tile long discussed question of a meeting place for the boys and it seems likely that at last something definite may be done in the matter.

During the liist week, in tho Second Back, A. Coles and K. Mailrahnu have passed the tests aiid been enrolled as Ten'derpads. The Black Six lias been reconstituted with C. Duncan as tho new Sixer and W. Sanders as his Second. The Second Pack is now almost full hut as two members lire leaving for the North, Island and seVeVal are approaching the age when they will go tip into the Scout Troop, a Tew more hoys between eight and twelve can still he accepted as recruits.
