In the Supreme Court, Theodore Victor Casey was found guilty of the theft, .of communion wine and rosary beads from the Holy Cross Convent, Epsom. The jury failed to agree on charges against accused .of indecently assaulting two little girls, lie was sentenced to four months’ gaol for (belt. A new trial was ordered on the other count. Henry Cunningham, on a charge of carnal knowledge of a girl under lourtcen years, was sentenced to six mouths imprisonment, the jury making a strong recommendation .to mercy on account of prisoner’s previous good record.
