I had the honour ol being Chairman during one year of my expiring term, and I look back'with a good deal of satisfaction to the lacl that as a result of the administration it was possible to reduce the annual rate. In regard to district work 1 have given my best attention, and the improved condition of the roads which aie increasing in length witli expanding settlement, testify to the sustained nature of the maintenance. I was an advocate for tho road machinery, and the plant is no doubt responsible for the improved work giving better roads, a result which is very satisfactory to me. Next Wednesday will In* polling day, and I ask for your active support on my behalf, pledging myself in return to do my best for’the advancement of the Central Riding in particular and tne County in generally.
