‘ .MISS BLUEBEARD ”—TO-NIGHT
“ Miss Bluebeard,” a Paramount picturisatiou of Avery Hopwood’s Broadway stage hit. “Little Miss Bluebeard,” is the feature at the Princess Theatre to-night. Frank Tiitle directed the picture; Bebe Daniels is the star and Robert Frazer, Raymond Griffith, Kenneth AlacTvenna and others appear in the supporting cast. “ Miss Bluebeard ” is a story of Colette Girard (Bebe), French actress, who goes to London. En route she meets a young fellow who poses as Larrv Charters, prominent composer. Tho pair arc stranded in a. small town railroad station and go to the mayor’s house as the only place of shelter in the little hamlet. The mayor mistakes them for a young couple he is expecting, and marries them. Fancy that! What a mess! Now Bob Hawley, Colette’s temporary (husband, bad given the name of bis friend, Charters, so the girl finds herself with not one husband —but two! Nothing to do now but got a divorce. But when tho real Larry Charters gets a. glimpse of his made-to-order bride, he decided it is a honeymoon Colette will get, not a divorce. The girl also falls for him. but will not admit it. She's hoard a lot o? these author fellows, and far be it from her to be. another of his “ inspirations. Bobo’s at her best in this one, but has to step some, nevertheless, for Ray Griffith, in tlio finest comedy characterisation you’ve seen in pictures in many a long day, is close behind when it comes to handing out acting laurels. You’re sure to hear more of this fellow later. Robert Frazer, as usual, comes through with a pleasing performance as loading man. Tho rest of the cast, too, are all true to type. “So this is love!” Ts it? See it! Another series of the “ Beasts of Paradise ” serial will be shown together with a. good comedy.
