[BV TFLEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] TIM ARC. May 7. At t lie Supreme Court, Justice Adams sentenced George Walter Brekaut to three months’ imprisonment for negligently driving a motor car, thereby causing bodily injury. He was also ordered to pay £SO compensation, costs of prosecution £2O 7s 6d, and was disqualified for obtaining a driver’s license during a period of two years.
John William Davey for thefts from postal packets was ordered to be detained in a Borstal Institute for a period of two years. Janies Husband was admitted to probation for three years for forgery but was ordered to nay the costs of the prosecution £2 6s 3d and make restitution of £36 within twelve months. For attempted breaking and entering Charles Peter Clancy was admitted to probation for three years and to be prohibited for that period. On a similar charge, Leonard Charles Haskell was sentenced to three months.
