Canadian exports for the fiscal year ended March 31st, totalled one billion three hundred and fifteen million an increase of two hundred and forty-six million dollars. Imports totalled nine hundred and twenty-seven million, an increase of one hundred and thirty million dollars. The net improvement of the favourable balance was cue hundred and fifteen million dollars. Exports to Australia increased from three millions to over filteen millions and imports went up from lour hundred thousand to three millions. A message from Fairbanks, reports the aeroplane Alaskan of Wilkin’s expedition was attempting to take off for the flight to Point Barrow to-day when it was seriously damaged, the propeller being splintered and the wings torn to shreds, and the landing gear on the right side was reduced to a tangled wreck.
