MAUNDER- A| UIRHEAD

On Monday, 26th April, a very pretty wedding was solemnised at the Presbyterian Church, which was beautifully decorated by the bride’s tr ends, when Myrtle, eldest daughter of Mrs .Maunder of Hokitika, was joined in matrimony .to Stanley, eldest s-.u of -Air and Mrs (L Afuirhead of Cob-den. the Rev. P. B. Eraser being the officiating minister. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of tier brother (Mr G. Maunder) wore a bei ~;!ng frock of creme AfeConaeliy Oik iml dainty veil of pale pink tulle arranged in mob cap fashion with bands of orange-blossom and pink ribbon Mi earners. She carried a charming 1 euquet of pink roses and hot house (towers. Miss May Maunder* who attended lor sister as chief bridesmaid wore a petty frock of LI tic georgette and carried a bouquet, of cream roses and ehrvi.intbennims. Little Elsie Mtiirhead .'sister of the bridegroom) who acted as dower girl was attired in shell pink silk a ltd carried a lucky horse shoe of pink flowers and maiden hair fern. Ah Albert Hoy carried out the duties of best man. After the ceremony a party of guests adjourned to Preston’s tea rooms where the usual toasts wei'e honoured. Here the bride and I ) :c’egroom received many congr.itu'.r.ory telegrams and good wishes.
