' ‘STRANGERS OF THE NIGHT.” TO-NIGHT. Enid Bennett, who plays the heroine in “Straitens of the Night,” now showing at the Print-css Theatre, attributes her success in pictures to her husband Fred Niblo. While she was working in an office in Perth. Australia, Mr Niblo advertised for someone to play a minor part in his current 'production. Her girlhood penchant for the- stage was gratified when Mr Niblo, who was then appearing in Australia, gave her the part. Her performance led to other engagements, and Mr Niblo coached her in the art of acting. Their marriage followed and M.iss Bennett was seen in a series of screen plays directed h.v her husband. Miss Bennett reached the pinnacle of success when she appeared as the demure maid Marian. opposite Douglas Fairbanks in

“Robin ITood” and Mr Niblo Was meanwhile gaining international prestige by his production of “The Famous .Mrs Fair,” “Blood and Sand” rind “The Three Musketeers.” The Niblos are now together again for “Strangers of the Night,” the screen version of Waller TTackctt’s Ambrose Applejohn’s Adventure. “Strangers of the Night,” is a pirate mystery drama, warmed with love, spiced with comedy, set with thrilling and sensational adventures. Enid Bennett, Matt Moore, and Barbara at/ Afarr are the principal players in; this thrilling mystery drama. A good comedy and further chapters of “Beasts of Paradise” will complete the bill to-night.
